We don´t just talk about it - we do it! The making of the "11freunde" circle of friends considers three social aspects. That way the thought of "united we stand" comes to life and brings different people closer together.

The unpainted terracotta figures are handcrafted in Mexico and brought to Germany via Fair Trade.

The figures are prepared for painting in the „Hamburger Werkstatt GmbH“, a shelterd Workshop for handicapped people. The "Hamburger Werkstatt GmbH" focuses on integrating handicapped people back into regular jobs and social environments.

1,11 EUR of each sold "11freunde" circle of friends goes to a project called "Water for Cuba", „Viva con agua de Sankt Pauli“. The well known footballclub FC Sankt Pauli has initiated this project with the Welthungerhilfe aka German Agro Action. They provide Kindergartens and schools in Cuba with fresh and clean water.
